Tax Return Delivery Process

Introducing the Guilmartin, DiPiro & Sokolowski Tax Return Delivery System

While we cannot eliminate your tax-filing requirement, we can make the process hassle-free by utilizing a delivery process known as SafeSend Returns. SafeSend Returns allows us to automate the delivery, review, and signature of your federal and state income tax returns. You will be able to do this from the convenience of your computer, smartphone, or tablet. It is user-friendly, highly secure and an easier way for you to manage your tax return.

The system is designed to simplify your review of your tax returns and expedite the required steps for electronic filing. Each step of the process will include additional instructions to ensure successful completion of each step. As you continue through the process, should you need to finish later, you may save your work and complete it at your convenience.

Once your tax return is completed by our office, you will receive an email notifying you to review your tax return and sign your e-file forms. With the link in the email you will be able to:

  • Download, review and/or print your tax returns.
  • Review your current year tax liabilities or refunds.
  • Review any estimated tax payments for the upcoming tax year.
  • Initiate tax payments to IRS and state tax authorities.
  • Electronically sign your e-file authorization forms. For personal returns, the IRS requires identity verification using the widely used Knowledge Based Authentication process to confirm your identity.

For individual clients filing Married Filing Jointly, the system will ask you to provide your spouse’s email address. Your spouse will then receive the same email and follow the same instructions to electronically sign the e-file authorization forms.

Please note, the IRS requires both individuals to electronically sign independent of each other. Additionally, Forms 990 and 5500 are not eligible for this service at this time.

We will use SafeSend Returns to electronically deliver your tax returns to you in an efficient manner. If you choose to opt-out, there will be an additional manual processing fee of $30.
